The Taste of Spring

‘From grey and black to a broken spectrum of light.’

With a crackle the tide just turns. Without a warning. Sounding off with a loud yell. Inhibition melts with the leftover ice sparkling all over a frozen heart. Thinking never again could you feel this alive you let everything you wanted go. It just wasn’t meant to be. But an unexpected fever reminds you what it feels like when you first taste Spring. That warmth after so harsh a season. Suddenly your purpose becomes so clear and your vision is saturated. The intensity is utterly overwhelming. With each thump and crash the next chapter is opening . You can make sense of the past, leave it in it’s proper place. Begin writing a new page. Your heart races with excitement. The storm is the rollercoaster and the future the adventure.

Sky of teary smiles
even the low clouds get pierced,
colors crystalize.
