If you have read my poem, "Wisdom Of The Sword", this is the original version of the poem before I revised and made it better than this one. I wrote this poem originally in 2014, which was my among the earliest years of my entire time I spent in writing poetry.
We're all born as daggers,
our short blades that lack experience in life.
As the river of time flows by,
our blades extend and get stronger.
Our swords are all different in style and length.
The parts of the sword that make us who we are:
the length of the blade that determines our amount of experience,
the strength of the blade that shows our strength,
the sharpness of the blade that shows our level of intelligence,
the color of the blade that shows our attitude,
the shape of the blade that shows our interests.
the handle of the sword that shows our determination,
and the guard of the sword that shows our care to protect others.
We clash our swords from time to time when we argue.
We fight together with our swords to overcome sadness.
One day, the soul of my sword shall protect you from all evil.
Stay by my side, the journey with the soul of our swords has only begun.
