The Sweetness of Love

It's the sweetness of love
That keeps me company.
Wraps around my shoulders
And whispers in my ears.

It's the sweetness of love
That plays on my heart strings
Playing melodies not heard before
with the same feverent caress.

It's the sweetness of love
That sings me a lullabye in
The middle of the night when
I reach out to touch you and
You respond with moans
of endearment.

It's the sweetness of love that
Spins the essence of you around
In my head and I am not afraid
To adore and love you forever.

Looking at the one you love is sweet. Seeing the one you love smile at you is sweet. Smelling the one you love with your eyes closed is super sweet. Hearing the one you love say, "I love you", is awesome. Waking to the touch of the one you love is heaven. Loving being in love is beyond compare. We could go on and on and on. Rockman :-)

If there is a sweetness to love, then it must have a lot of calories. Good write Cynthia.
