Notes About The Poem

When I wrote this poem in 1994, I had known the LORD
for 19 years and HE has grown even sweeter then I knew
HIM back then.  HE never changes, HE is the same,
YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER!  HE is the only
PERSON that we can know WHO is steadast!

GOD BLESS

The Sweetness of His Presence

The Sweetness Of HIS Presence

Oh the sweetness of HIS presence
and the joy of my soul within
when I love my Wonderful MASTER
and spend such precious time with HIM.

HIS peace and tranquility 
overcomes any storm within my heart and my soul
for with HIS SPIRIT HE speaks, “Peace be still”
and HIS calm over me begins to roll.

And in HIS presence I begin to find
that I love HIM more and more each day
and the more I do 
 I also find now it is much more easy to pray.

For why would it be so hard to speak
to the ONE you love so dear
to show Him adoration and honor
now without condemning fear.

For FATHER in YOUR presence
I love to be both night and day
it matters not where I am LORD
YOU are welcome if I am at work or play.

MASTER when at first I came to know YOU
I knew not how lovely YOU truly are
and I am so glad you brought me into YOUR presence
never again to stay away so far.
