The Sweetest Release

The metal cools my skin where it touches, Tears rain down below to the floor, Memories kaleidoscope  thru, I remember the first time i kissed you, The softness of you Id not soon forget, It haunted my dreams night after night, Like chasing my favorite drug, Never letting me forget.  Now you say i have you again, But truth is im in a war I'll never win, For you make sure to elude me as if a dream, Giving me just enough to keep me I see the glimmer whenever they call, I also wear the bruises from their pedalstooled fall, Inside my soul whimpers Begging to be released but i know you won't.  The tears flow down like a damn thats broken, I asked God to forgive me, knowing he won't , Knowing im dooming myself quicker to a hotter hell, I inhale a deep breathe, and ask you to forgive me, I squeeze the trigger....
