The Sweet Love of Summer That Went into Yesterday
The Sweet Love of Summer That Went into Yesterday
The sweet love of summer that went into yesterday forever,
The passion of the air in the deep perfume that floats magically,
Sadness and fury are not there to give them or to tell them,
Only the true heart that abounds always without ending.
Quickly pass over each one the tender fires that burn inside,
They showed the path to the love from your hidden soul,
The dawn of morning or some distant cloud floating on blue sky,
All that is love you cannot touch or control too much.
Because the day again goes toward the black and dark night,
And everything gives something that has value—something worth keeping,
It declares itself through thorns and the heart full of wisdom,
Cutting around its love from seed to birth.
It conquers each truth from the feelings that hide well,
The roots and maps come through our silent interior,
Summer's love went into yesterday but remains engraved in the chest,
The tender fires burn always—even if the day becomes night.
All that is love you cannot control or hold in palms,
It comes and goes like the clouds from the sky—like the summer that passes,
But the true heart abounds always with passion and power,
Even when everything transforms into darkness and silence.
