The Surreal World of the Us President

The Surreal World of the US President

By Elton Camp

The one who is chosen for this position
Will experience an astonishing transition

For it is in just one single day, he went
From a citizen to being Mr. President

Nothing can prepare one for such a task
For severe criticism and adulation to bask

To the public the president does belong
But some will always think he is wrong

Although he has become man of the hour,
He finds he doesn't have unlimited power

Despite this obvious fact, just the same
For all that's wrong he is the one to blame

And there are sycophants around, galore
To falsely claim how much they do adore

But his lifestyle is surely something grand
Limos, servants, mansion & plumber at hand
