The Supernatural Natural

Miracle upon miracle, every day, every hour, every minute Matters little what Laws of Nature are found in it What to a certain mind-set is purely empirical To a different persona is clearly a miracle For just like believing, seeing's tied to perception The mind's eye, the be-all and end-all of conception In one room, a woman gives birth in a natural way Yet I saw it happen midst a fireworks display April 14, 2019 Entry in "Let's Have an Argument" contest Sponsor: Kevin Shaw

Appreciate you noticing this win, even if the poet involved (me) is neither supernatural or 'a natural.' (Perhaps 'au natural' when born. Perhaps... LOL). :) gw

Thank you so much for noticing (and for notifying me)… My rolls tend to be short-lived; we'll see if this one has any longer to roll... Who knows? Appreciate your support greatly! :) gw

This is so very true. We often don't see what is right in front of our eyes. I recall a day when I was so stressed that I would walk into filing cabinets while looking at them. Thank God that I got over that!

So true, David. We've got to keep those eyes wide open. ~ Gershon

To my way of thinking, the mind that comprehends/appreciates the natural and the supernatural has a truer and deeper understanding. Philosophy and science. Neat poem.

May we come to see that they are two sides of the same coin, so to speak. Thank you for your profound comment. :) gw

The ambiguity of end-all of conception sounds very pleasant for my ears. Thanx for sharing)
