The Sun's Beauty

The sun has an unrecognizable haze, today,
surrounding its beauty and luminescent glow.
I am sure to have disturbed its beauty for all
By trying to reach it and therefore affecting it so.

Surrounding its beauty and luminescent glow
lies an unmistakable aura, a new protection.
If not for my attempt to try to reach the sun
Its rays would not have turned in a different direction.

I am sure to have disturbed its beauty for all
and yes they all can hold that against me.
I am truly sorry for the sunshine’s demise.
Selfish, I just could not let the sunshine be.

By trying to reach it and therefore affecting it so,
I have tarnished the beauty that lies deep within.
I just hope that the sun will one day forgive.
Moreover, let others appreciate her beauty again.
