The Sun Who Loved the Moon

I love you the way the sun loves the moon. You can be my moon. I will die every night if it means you will come out. You sit among the stars, yet I watch you. The stars can try their best, but I can't look away from you, my love. You hold all my secrets. You paint the night with your light. My night would be so much darker without you, my love the moon. Hold me tight, as you hold your night, dear moon. You glow using my light, and I will never ask for anything in return. To see you glow is more than enough for me. Your tears do not fall, they rise and turn to stars, my love. You have stars in your eyes, Stars on your skin. I love to watch the stars dance on your skin and in your eyes. Your eyes share your secrets with me, And the first time we met, I fell in love with your moonlight. You my love, the moon, are my light.
