The Sun Rises
The sun rises brightly every day
Chasing the darkness of night away
With golden rays streaming to the ground
Birds welcome it with their cheerful sound
And the animals come out to play.
The wind arrives, trees begin to sway
The clouds build up and the day turns grey
Even though night always comes around
The sun rises.
When life seems darkest and here to stay
We turn to HIM to keep pain away
For HIS loving arms will soon surround
To calm the soul, HIS love most profound
With answers to every word we pray
The sun rises.
