The Sun

The pond outside is boiling.
The sun probably exploded.
I can’t blame it.
If the sun is as tired as me.
The melting and boiling woke me up early.
I can usually sleep through anything.
I woke up early, to this apocalypse.
I turn on the fan.
I hit the snooze button.
Hoping that school will be cancelled.
