The Sun

The light I see it now
The darkness gone somehow

I bow before your beauty
This is my duty.

The light pours in my eyes
Yes it feels fine

What did I do to deserve you?

I know you don't require thanks
But I feel like I have too.

Your warm embrace, it hits my face.

After all the dark I've seen
You make me feel clean.

Thank you my friend
I cannot replace

You are my star
So close yet far.

Still I'm here in this blue place
But atleast I am here with you..
