The Summer Was Never Meant To Last

The summer was never meant to last

I showed you flowers in different colours
You told me the meaning of two lovers

We were encapsulated by each day
We were born to run and play

The moments that we shared
The times we cried and once cared

I will love you till the end of time
I now remember what’s yours is yours and mine is mine

This kind of love could never last
The future knew I’d still be thinking of you but the summer I remember that went so fast

The beauty of time is that no one can take you away from me
I guess you are together with another and that’s the way it should be

Love Forever my little Humming Bee
