The Strangest of Nights

There's a scratching at my door
There's a man lying naked on my floor
Scrambling to find my footing
Stumbling in the dark looking for a match
A light to combat the night

There's a knocking at my window
There's a man who's soul sleeps in limbo
Peering outside my bedroom window
Looking for a sign of life in the still of the night
All I see is a Cheshire cat & a gleaming in the night

There's a pounding at the back door
There's a man standing outside my door
Drenched in hysteria with sweat glistening on his skin
I open the door, he takes me in his arms & kisses me
Vehemently he presses his lips firmly against mine

Lying naked in bed
Our bodies entwined in a lovers fervor
Hands & lips locked in passion
Wrestling between love stained sheets
Gazing in each-others eyes, till the climax ceases.
