The Stranger Who Had My Heart

I thought I knew you I thought I loved you I thought I will always want you Until you revealed the other side of you We use to go out and have fun We were gone from night fall to the rising of the sun Everything that we've done, we've done as one The love and affection was there but now there's none I should have looked deep in your eyes Maybe I would have seen that you weren't such a good guy Time revealed all of your lies Which left me alone, heart and eyes ready to cry I thought that this time, I found the right man That this time, a ring will be put on my hand But I guess that I'll have to wait for the next man Because here I am in the same position once again I guess I was dumb and blind Because I didn't see the signs I blocked it off from my mind Not knowing that in it the truth we will find I never thought I'll see this day The day we'll break up and we both go our own way Forever in my heart you'll stay But tattooed in my mind is the game you played I will never forget how you hurt me My scars are so obvious for everyone to see So there's no need to hide my feelings But memories of the good times will help and heal me
