The Stranger In Me
Looking in the mirror, seeing a,
Stranger staring back at me.
I see a different person,
Someone who has a different new,
Perspective on life feeling,
Hopeful for the future.
Proceeding to the square for,
The speech of my life to condemn,
The man who almost took my life.
He destroyed me inside and,
Demolished my heart in pieces.
He also took my brain leaving me,
With no memory of my life,
Before the shooting.
Yet now having dreams of a mystery,
Woman named, "Cam".
Amnesia can be cruel.
Walking thru the square I can see,
My memory as if in a dream,
All I see is "Cam".
As she runs towards me calling my name,
We embrace,
She slowly softly kisses me,
As I recall my memories,
I hear her say my name holding me.
I remember everything about our life.
