Hi Sotto, I love that music, I have also used it for a poem on here.. I felt your poem is a reflective and evocative exploration of adventure and cultural assimilation. Through vivid imagery and a contemplative tone, it captures the excitement and challenges of seeking understanding in a foreign land. The themes of curiosity, resilience, and discovery resonate deeply, making it a compelling piece that speaks to the universal human experience of exploration and the quest for meaning.

Sotto, your beautiful, touching poem, allows one to see through the eyes of the stranger-their hopes and their fears. Wonderful music, too. This is a fave.

SP, this is wonderful! I imagine immigrants here and everywhere trying their best to fit in and embrace the culture of a new place despite any opposition and disapproval. You truly enable us to develop a sense of empathy for the stranger in our midst.

Dear Sotto, Ahh... Yes, the feeling of being an outsider and the courage it takes to embrace the unknown. I like how the words of bridging hills and valleys while seeking connection in a foreign land is powerful. I also love how you capture the mix of curiosity, dread, and determination. Your quest for understanding and discovery is beautifully expressed. This is a thoughtful and inspiring piece. - Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

When one leaves home or a comfort zone there's a lot to comprehend and search for. It's like a new challenge and yearning for whatever life has to offer, a change or more tasks. It's like a wilderness of confusion and exhaustion. However, with time, focus and continuity we sail on the right path eventually. Lovely one for the contest Sotto.
