The Story of a Lonely Girls Life
The tears have come, and the tears have gone,
The tears of regret, the tears of remorse,
The ache is only what’s left,
The ache of guilt, of being alone.
Loneliness surrounds me,
To be alone in a crowded room,
To hears peals of laughter bounce,
Bounce off the walls I have built around me.
With my own hands I built these walls,
Walls that entrap me, keep me abound,
No matter how hard I try,
I cannot pull them down at all.
