The Story
We all know the story of the lion who couldnt find his roar,
The one about the scarecrow who wanted thoughts he'd never had before.
But what about the girl just trying to make it through the day?
Hope trapped in paragraphs that shes to afraid to say.
What about the girl who's intrusive thoughts sound like lullabies.
What if thats all make believe and this is my goodbye?
I dont mean to make you worry about me.
I just wish that I could too.
Everything is overwhelming and I dont know what to do..
I know the original fairytales were often grimm and dark.
But some how through out history they some how made a spark
Maybe i could too so if I stuck around and waited?
Maybe I'd be long gone by now, if I hadn't hesitated.
I've done it again.. gone to far with my words.
I'm just pleading on my end....
I just want to be heard....
I know what they'll say "everyone feels this way..."
Are you guys just like me??
Just trying to make it through the day?
I think there's more to come and I hope that I'm right.
There's a story no ones heard yet...
