The Stormy Sea

rough ocean waves
crashing sounds on the granite rocks
water rising, filling up nearby caves
        winds raise nearby boat docks
to fall and crumble in pieces into the sea
as the seagulls and cormorants on the docks flee
to the seawater to swim free
waves crash on granite rocks as sea debris engraves

Your dramatic imagery highlights the savage beauty of Nature, Tania. She is powerful and so is your poetic pen. Congratulations on your wonderful win. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

This meets the challenge so seamlessly. You can hardly tell that you were required to use certain words. G.L. in the contest, Tania. :) gw
