The Storm

Warm air throughout the day begins to rise admits the clouds Brewing more within each second, til it releases a few drops to the ground The Storm at hand has brought about some moving warm air below A sudden change to cold succeeds to make the wind start to blow Leaves behind a scent that we all know as earth, water and trees Humidity has gone wild, which makes it hard to breathe An illuminating charge creates a spark, we see it as a light form Travelling through a channel which then creates the light of the storm A sense of calm throughout the sky's, yet seconds later its out for more The channel disappears and lets you know with a frightening roar Never think its over because its far from over and still got more Were surrounded by dark grey clouds, all you can think is its gonna pour Clouds are now more threatening, any second you know they'll burst The pressures creeping higher, its about to show the worst Clouds are faster and its darker they have no interest to say good bye They built up all those droplets, even the wind froze them in the sky Pressures at its peak now, there to heavy so now they fall What is known as hail has dropped, looks like a frozen water ball Much prettier at a distance, but destruction is all it knows Never to understand that your car just came with meeting all your goals All of a sudden out of nowhere it goes silent, the sun comes out again The relief you feel to know its over and the day can finally begin We take a picture to remind us of such beauty we all see But in a flash that moments gone as if you just got stung by a bee So we remind ourselves that beauty isn't always as it is But we take a chance on it because we get a picture just like this.
