The Storm

Shes hanging by a string
The storm is lurking
Right around the corner
 The darkness waits
Ready to carry her away
This time
She wont be coming back

There’s only so much
One can take
Before exhaustion sets in
And the dark, wins.

Over and over again
She’s tried
Over and over again
She’s been left
And over and over again
She’s alone again.

So alone it hurts
So hurt, she’s scared
So scared, she’s frozen
So frozen, she’s numb
So numb, she’s alone.

She’s moving closer to the storm
The darkness
Has become a familiar place
She knows, wants to move towards the light
But the storms familiar arms pull her forth
She takes one last look at the sun
Knowing, she doesn't belong there anyway.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
