The Stillness All Around

How beautiful the snow sparkles tonight like tiny little gems. As the moonlight shines down so peacefully on them. The stars how they twinkle so softly..what a sight. Such a wondrous beauty I behold in the Heavens tonight. I sit in awe of the stillness that encompasses all around. Whilst downy snow falls like feathers floating to the ground. God has given my life such a quiet peace to behold. Such treasures a many my heart finds in the cold. So many gifts tonight these brown eyes hold so dear. Quiet befalls this wonderland that only my soul can hear. Transporting my thoughts to where angels fly so high. As I imagine what heaven is like and I breathe a soft sigh. Sweet dreams will invade my sleep where I lay me down to rest. Enveloped in Gods arms of love knowing He gives me his very best.

He gives you his very best. Yes he does. Sometimes it seems like more than we can handle. I am battling with my 24 year old daughter's addiction. Often I feel it is like more than I can handle. Somehow I survive. He watches over us all. I don't know how you have survived so much in your life but somehow you have. Lots Of Love, a fav, armand.

Hello Armand..I'm so sorry to hear about what you are dealing with with your young daughter.I will keep you both in my prayers.It does seem we don't think we can make it another day but yet we always do somehow don't we? We do because God takes our hand and walks us through our trials sweetie...he always does no matter what.It may not be easy but he stays with us.Love and hugs to you...Mary

Hi my Kentucky rose. How wonderful it is reading one of your snow poems. This has always been one of my favourites. The amount of times i have had the dream of this poetic journey with you.
