The Statue of Liberty

An M.A, M.C.A, A poet, in his mid thirties, And alas still sitting at home…! Come away o fortune in the heavens And bless us, Me, my depressed boy-brother, and our widower dad. Fulfill now my long longed desires For example the one, Visiting the colossal Statue of Liberty… Standing with its pedestal And sitting on its stares. Rising on its top And remembering the glorious past of France, Imagining the vision of the professor And wondering over the sculptor’s art. Playing with the tall woman’s garbs And kissing her feet.
