The Statue of David

He was as handsome as the statue of David,
His hair coiffed and grey and very becoming.

His physical and masculine figure,
Defined by the Gods, I long to date him.

What should I say to God's plan,
Encourage us to continue to be friends and companions.

I long to marry him, after five months of getting to know you,
Look forward to seeing you again and hugging you.

Could we promise forever, just because you meet someone,
Loving him day by day, doesn't mean that you are destined to marry.

You hear of husbands and wives who met at a social,
Dated and fell in love and are now happily married.

They say if you love someone you should set them free,
If they are yours they will come back to you.

If they don't they were never yours to begin with,
Tough lesson by God, they are many miracles in your life.

You are the FIRST to notice David's hair! Love and life are constantly changing, but the older you get, the more difficult it becomes to notice! Aloha! Rico
