The State of His Hair

Girls and boys
pick up your toys
Your playground
has been shut.

There’s a man out there
with greasy hair
hellish hankering
in his gut.

That’s what we thought
till Joey’s father was caught.
He was clean shaven
with neat crew cut.

Hi Kathy - Another good one with an excellent point. Can't tell a book by its cover. Your poetry "shows" this well without telling. The best kind of writing. Thanks again for your positive feedback of my poetry. - Gail

What am I missing? However, it IS 10:49pm and I'm sleepy... still, I do enjoy poems that cause me to scratch my head and wonder. Love Keith
