The Stars
Your eyes shone as
Bright as the stars
On a clear night.
The stars reflected
The light you gave
Off as they came forth.
You smiled as one
Of the stars fell
Through the sky.
The stars laughed
As you leaned close
And our lips touched.
You held me as the
Stars faded into
The coming morning.
