The stars

Two stars, two of a kind
Speaking of their love filled bind.
Behind the nighttime shield
These stars thought they had healed.
But around them the shield made others blind.

Their love spread, but so did the hate,
The other stars didn't find their love great.
But the pair didn't care,
For they did not need “repair”
They could carry each other's weight.
