The Star and the Cloud

On a dark and starry night, I look into the sky, Seeing the stars as they sparkle, And dance across the sky, Playing Catch me if you can, with the cloud in the sky. Looking at the clouds above, I sense they are watching and, Searching for that one special star, Where they met so long ago, And remembering that one special night. They search centuries but, Can never find each other again. The star starts to fade losing all hope, As the cloud never does. The Gods sense their broken heart, Searching for each other all these years, Feeling all is lost and yet just a memory, But the Gods give them a miracle, Place them on earth as humans, So they will always be together.
