The Standards That Set Us Up To Fail

They stack us with tests'
All the way up to our necks
Suffocating us to where we cant take a single breath
Stress is past our breaking points
No wonder all we do is guess!
They try to fail us because they want you to feel blue
Cant we just tell these things to shoo!
Have they ever thought of the children who cant do the standardized
But whom knows the material from head to shoe.
But now here we are
Failing away
All because these tests wont get the flu.

Many people are bad at tests, while being highly intelligent. I remember being told that we must take test results with a grain of salt. Being that everyone dances to a different drum, in this life; I don't put much stock into tests. I've known and worked with too many who were highly educated, yet when it came down to intelligence...they came up short. I've also seen 4 and 5 year olds that, were considerably smarter than many adults.

I live In Florida and we test ALOT, and I'm really smart but I'm awful at tests. That's why I wrote this.
