The Stain

The silence is broken
pride gone down the drain
harsh words were spoken
I'll never remove the stain.

Words of undying love
were spoken on that fateful night
as I look to the sky above
my reflection was a fearful sight.

Memories will never die
people can't be replaced
even if we try
their souls can never be traced.

I guess life goes on
even if we are in pain
living in oblivion
I'll never remove the stain.
