The Springtime Show

On the frail wings of the weary northern winds winter departs. The collapsed lumps of cloud hear the last shrill of the chilled breeze whispering to fly far beyond the hazy horizon, and to sweep away the misty layers from the opaque sky, making it crystal clear and painting it with the sprinkled azure elixir of pellucid spring, descending with the serenading ripples of color through the diaphanous air. The gossamer cloud films clad in wispy ribbons of regal sapphire robe appear to entice with their satin shadows the blooming buds to unfurl their pristine petals with the rhapsody of spectral hues. The lattice of flowers embroiders the rows of defoliated trees coming to life after their verdant resurrection. The sunburst chromatic horizon sprays the tinsels of surreal tinge on the flushing meadow where with the rhythmic flow of zephyr the floral fragrance finds the dulcet direction, tracing the trails of beguiling butterflies that design the seraphic scenario of the springtime show.

in sky’s spectrum surge
nature's flashing beauty floats…
canvas of spring holds

Dear Subimal, you describe the onset of spring with poetic finesse. Lush imagery captures the "seraphic scenario" with tranquil beauty. Congratulations for your success in Tom's contest. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
