The Splendor of Christmas

Upon this blue and green planet, shrouded by the cover of clouds,
Are the lives of people as plain as you and I, or as lofty as the
Highest royals. Each life contains a multitude of stories, and each
Life intertwines with the lives of others. God made this planet, and He
Made you and I.

The grand design of the universe was conceived in the mind of
God, from the smallest dew on the emerald grass, to the deer
With tails of white, to the oceans and seas, to the reaches of
The galaxies, to the colors of the anomalies in space, and to
The beauty and glory of worlds yet undiscovered. The heart
Of God is as a master painter who paints with every color, every
Emotion, and every melody.

If all of creation existed as a glorious tapestry, then the fabric,
The textures, and the colors would be woven together to tell the stories
Of the rise and fall of nations, and the stories of the lives of
People who lived and loved. From the coldness of space this world
Shelters the hopes and dreams of its inhabitants. And there is One
Who loves the beauty of His creation, and He has bathed our world
In His love. And that is the splendor of Christmas.

Thomas how wonderful to see you posting again. What a wonderful poem you have crafted here, a tapestry of colour and beautiful hues. I loved it from beginning to end. How are you in you Island Paradise? In case I don't get a chance to, let me wish you a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year....Maria

Thank you for your kind compliment, Sunlite. It is a beautiful world we live in, and it was always intended to be that way in the beginning of time.
