The Spectrum of Humanity
If I woke up with a white skin, I would not abandon a colored friend
If my true love became yellow, I would be too blind to make it end
If my new neighbor was red, I would take him as a godsend
If my best friend became brown, we would still click, gibe and blend
If my mother turned into a black woman, her love and care would still transcend
