The Special Gift
It's oh so precious,so very deep and sure
For the malady of life,a gentle potent cure
Some will deny it and others will ignore
Yet of the many things in life,of this one i am sure
It soothes us when we ache,it can mend a broken heart
It is the one thing that we want and need right from the very start
So afford yourself this special gift,for to deny it would be to much
It is only available to gentle souls,who dare to gently touch
You will not find it in anothers eyes or written across ones face
This feeling is most potent when two such souls embrace
So go forth and find that magic touch that fits your soul like hand to glove
And then you will know of what I speak and you will know of love
