The Speaking of the Eye
These eyes that see with kindness
are very rarely blind
These eyes that show a tenderness
are very rarely tearless
These eyes that wear such tiredness
are very rarely sleeping
These eyes that rain with sadness
are very rarely smiling
These eyes that see with wonder
are very rarely joyless
These eyes that guide me through this life
are very rarely seeing good, I only wish they could.....
