THE SPARK AND THE FLAME

The Spark and the Flame
It’s easy to rise when the fire is new,
To chase bold dreams the moment they brew.
But sparks burn quick, and passion may tire,
Without the fuel of steady fire.

Discipline walks where impulse fades,
Through winding roads and shadowed shades.
Consistency, the thread unseen,
That stitches the path where goals are led,
And makes dream come true

Without a focus, sharp and wide,
You’ll light the match, but flames won’t bide.
You’ll chase the start, again and again —
Without much gain and,
Yet never break through the waiting flame.
