The Space
Please take a moment to pick a nice space
a position to plant both of your feet
now dig your little toes into this place
a journey we go, a memory treat.
Passing storms would embellish air and ground
tornadoes hurricanes and even more
gifting the area with wondrous sound
challenging the best musical score.
Openness may not have always been here
perhaps lush forests where animals swayed
even dinosaurs when earth's growth became weird
what remains the same in twilight, night and day?
But today your space is at resting peace,
nature's freedom temporarily ceased!
