The Sower and the Tree

O thee, the sower, who’s sowing but not reaping; cut the tree? Why not tend it, nor, cultivate it near the crystal stream of love? ...that I may bear you, the sower, who’s sowing but not reaping, next spring the sweet fruits, of you and me, for the world to see---our arts.
