The Sounds of the Seasons
The clamor heard
In the urgent awakening of Spring
Slowly dies down
During the indolent lethargy of Summer,
But quickly revives
With the crisp tanginess of Fall,
Only to be subdued again
By the icy brittleness of Winter.
