The Sound of Quiet
The sound of quiet
Is quite the opposite
Your senses are flooded
Drown in the bass of your heartbeat
An exhale of breath is a waterfall
Silence is deafening
You have no sounds to distract you
From the loudest sound of all
Silence
It's unbearable
The screaming of your soul
Telling you what you've missed
