The Sound of Birds
Still of night.....
Frog croak
Early dawn
The forest awoke
New day born
The reassuring twitter
of birds on the ground
examining leaf litter
Bird sound
Cheerful song
from the hidden birds
In the leaves
Musical weaves
Musical throng
Haunting cry
of birds in sky
Floating on the air
Feathers flare
The sound of birds.....
for what it's worth
Too beautiful for words
Here, on the good earth
The sound of birds....
On the air....
The sound of birds....
Everywhere
