The Soul of Man
The second coming has already begun
I'm nervous of meeting our lords son.
Tho it's true they're already in you and me
His loves purity you shall see.
I'm still not sure of my exact role
Only to serve I'll make my goal.
I've been and seen the sickness of man
From the truth I always ran.
He's been here from the start
Sending his angels to protect me from the dark.
I never understood how I'd always survive
For a purpose they have kept me alive.
I'll never be perfect and that's OK
If I was, I wouldn't have understanding today.
I walked through Hell with my head held high
I was a fool and wanted to die.
For myself I no longer shed a tear
The time is close, our lords near.
He'll need our love and our light
Get yourself ready he'll need us to fight.
Those are not just vibrations you feel all around
It's in your heart the lords trumpets will pound.
For the souls of man we'll have to fight
Now tell him you love him and come to the light.
