The Soul of a Conscious Compulsive Liar

Today again, I lied
Didn’t want to but I had to hide
Deceit, it’s wrong I know
Unintentional the lie just flowed

“Good God fix it” he says
I want to, but I have no ways
Another lie, cold sweat and terror sways
Better to just run away

“No! You won’t grow” he yelled
An empty aid, too old
Alright tomorrow then, I told
I lied to myself, that’s gold

Morning comes, today again I lied

A liar is short-lived! Though there are some cunning ones out there. Well done on your writing.

I always found lying to be hard work. You have to keep remembering what you said and to whom you said it. I enjoyed this.

Thanks, I couldn't agree more with lying being a hardwork, after all making things right after a lie is hard, even admitting the lie takes lots of courage. Must be tough for those people who believes their own lie and lie just like they breathe, I'm sure they're lost as to who they are.
