The Soul

Your smile liquifies my hardened soul
Pouring it into a candle-shaped desire
That steadily burns away to take its toll,
As my aching dream rises higher and higher.

As it gently reaches the clouds of hope
Reverses back into a sweet surrender
Falling on your lips in rounded drops of love
Carresing your eyes and skin so tender.

Through all its strength it rises evan greater
To take your fears and hide them far away
To take your cry and turn it into laughter
So happiness will be upon you every day.

Finally gliding down to you in rhythmic flights
It wraps itself arround your gentle heart
To keep you warm in the long, cold winter nights,
Making sure we're never too far apart.
