The Songs of Our Hearts

Our hearts sing, yes they do
They sing songs of our various moods
Some songs so irritating to the ears
Others are sweet sounding melodies.

When they sing the sad songs
They sing of pain and sorrow
They sing of tears and wails
Songs that dampens the spirit.

When they are joyful songs
They sing of love and happiness
They sing of smiles and laughter
Songs that lifts the spirit.

Our desires and needs the songs say
Life experiences our stories do tell
The story of our life the songs tell
Our songs our hearts truly sing.
