The Songbirds of Life

It starts out as a lullaby. Incandescent, Halcyon, Full of felicity. Tranquil and lithe As it cascades through Meadows of enchanting Sweetness. But, all too often In this rhapsodic and crepuscular World, Serenity is damaged. Little by little, The songbirds of life Become discouraged, And lose themselves in their chrysalises of pain.
