The Song of Arrogance

? I guess in the old days, rules were made for a reason. Now, attention getters, fly madly for attention, like leaves Whirling madly in an autumnal season. Especially when your once best friend, takes a hammer to God’s high ceiling to smash your soul. And their once, high written poetry is now an attraction for egotistical reasons and goals. Did you learn to hurt your friends? God always sees you when you act more perfect than they. And you ignore or leave them in your selfish arrogant way. Being righteous must feel horribly yet falsely good! Like being caught in a winter storm without a coat or a hood! 3-15-2022

You, Ann are the treasure on the planet! Please do accept that. Some, have wooden hearts and heads. Such great comments they pen, but no hearts. Love the few. Not hundreds, unless you love pain... They toss people out of their lives, like used tissue. I am OK, but far less trusting.am sure others have been hurt, too...Pangie

Hi Pangie; sorry to hear this is happening on Soup. I only read a small handful of poets, and I have not seen mention of you. Whatever it is, whoever they are, let them talk. Good people are not blind, and will see the truth. Keep your higher moral ground, and time will vindicate you. Prince, glad you liked my worl .I no longer live here. That event was a few months ago.... not every day. A then friend stood up for me. That friendship ended. I have a tendency to be me. Oops. There are good folks here. But honestly mean also.including Consevatives, shocker for me. But most are civil.)) PR

WoW! I've been gone for awhile so don't know what happened but you go girl. Tel it like it is. When people are cruel and purposely hurt others for no good reason they should be told about themselves. I often think if we could stand off and see ourselves we would probably act differently. Good job my friend. God Bless, JB
