The Snow No Longer Falls in December
I want you to ponder and ruminate
About how dark it gets when it's late
When the clouds cover the moon
And the sun won't be rising soon,
That's the time when ghosts roam
Trying to get back to their real home
Imagine a life quickly taken
And in a transparent form you awaken
You're terrified
You're not alive
And your sorrow is gone with your breath
Open your eyes
Red and puffy from your cries
You struggled as you were strangled
Your body has been mangled
By the machinery of the clock
That makes time flow; tick tock
So don't listen to your light bulb's spark
Don't try to escape when it's dark
For your home is not as you remember
The snow no longer falls in December
